Artistry House LLC is excited to work with community dancers to present The Nutcracker on December 6, 2025 at The Robinson Grand Performing Arts Center. Performances will take place during Clarksburg’s Winter Fest celebration.

Dance families wishing to participate should complete the form at the bottom of this page. Dancers ages 6+ from any area studio are welcome to participate!

Auditions will be held at Artistry House LLC on Saturday, August 9 OR Wednesday, August 13. (Please pick one day or the other - no need to attend both.). The audition process looks very much like an abbreviated class. Dancers do not need to prepare material in advance.

Audition Times are as follows:

August 9th:
Ages 6-9: 9:30-10:15am
Ages 9-11: 10:30am-11:15am
Ages 12+: 11:30am-12:30pm
Pointe Solos: 12:30pm-1:15pm

August 13th:
Ages 6-9: 5:30-6:15pm
Ages 9-11: 6:30-7:45pm
Ages 12+/Pointe Solos: 8-9:15pm

In order to participate, dancers need to be six years or older and enroll in a dance class this fall (either at Artistry House or another local studio). We require a participation fee of $35 plus tax per dancer or $50 plus tax per family. The participation fee will be added to your account after the cast list is set.

Rehearsals will be held on Friday evenings and Saturday afternoons. Younger dancers typically rehearse on an every other week or a two weeks on and one week off schedule. Older dancers rehearse more frequently.

Preferred Rehearsal Day

We will put your dancer with the group that best suits them and still TRY to respect your choice of rehearsal days, but it isn't always possible. We will adjust if possible or give you the option to withdraw with no penalty if the rehearsal schedule is not workable for you.

Participation Fee

Rehearsal Attendance

Please type your name or initials below to confirm that you understand that rehearsal will happen outside of normal class time, that rehearsals are an integral part of the performance process, and that you will make every effort to have your dancer at rehearsal unless they are ill or have an approved absence (for example: pre-arranged travel, important family events, etc. - we try to be as reasonable as possible but we also need to see as many dancers in each rehearsal as possible).
